Big toe might be foot pain culprit

Pain in the heel or arch of the foot is frequently diagnosed as plantar fasciitis. "Plantar" refers to the bottom of the foot, "fascia" is the thick band of tissue running from the heel to the ball of the foot, and the ending "itis" indicates inflammation.
